Hanna AltpeterPhysician Assistant

Hanna joined Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in the summer of 2025. She currently serves as physician assistant to Dr. Scott Sporer, specializing in adult hip and knee replacement and reconstruction. Her main responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, seeing patients in clinic and rounding on inpatients.

She grew up in the west suburbs of Chicago. She attended the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate education in Biochemistry before attending Butler University in Indianapolis for her master's degree in physician assistant studies. As a student, she spent time in orthopedic surgery, emergency medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, family medicine, urologic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and psychiatry.
